What's new this week in our Media Center
Kindergarten - We will be reading The Biggest Test in the Universe by Nancy Poydar.
First & Second Grades - We will working on the skill of ABC order in preparation of testing. We will look at putting words in ABC order by using the 2nd, 3rd or 4th letter in a word if the words begin with the same 1st letter.

First Grade is learning the parts of a Computer (Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, CPU, Printer) They will complete the activity by identifying these parts by labeling a computer in the Media Center.
Third Grade is working in Internet Skills by learning how to read a web page and getting information from a web page.

What's Going On...March 8, 2010
PreK & K classes will be reading Bear Wants More by Karma Wilson. This is an introduction to Spring as Bear emerges from his den and finds himself very hungry.
1st Grade classes will be learning all the parts of a book. In this lesson we will be discussing author, illustrator, table of contents, title page, cover, spine, publisher, copyright date, and title.
2nd Grade classes will be discussing Folktales and Fairy Tales. We will conclude with an activity sheet.
