News..Third Grade Book Club

We will be starting a third grade book club in January 2011. First, we will be reading The Cricket in Times Square by George Selden. The story takes place in New York City where a cricket named Chester is found by a little boy named Mario. Mario keeps Chester as his pet, but is only allowed to keep him in the family's newsstand by the subway.

This is a great story to start our book club. We will be creating a group project at the end of each book completed. Look for displays in the Media Center.
